Making an Interlibrary Loan RequestIf UCLA does not own an item, users can request it through the interlibrary loan (ILL) service. Users registered for the fee-based UCLA Library Document Delivery Service can also use this service to request materials available at UCLA. Interlibrary loan requests can be submitted by the following methods: To request an item directly from the UC-wide Melvyl Catalog or a database:

Request an item using a UCLA blank form: The UCLA blank request forms have been removed. Please use one of the forms above to submit all interlibrary loan requests. These forms now allow users to override blocks on requests where the UCLA Library lacks a volume or when an item is missing. Checking the Status of a Request, Canceling a Request, or Renewing a RequestUsers can check the status of a request, cancel a request, and request a renewal by logging in to Request Status.
