Retrieving Materials
If you find that library stacks or other areas are inaccessible to you, please ask staff for assistance. The number of items retrieved per day may be limited in a campus library due to staffing or workload considerations. When immediate paging cannot be done, particularly during evenings and on weekends, staff will make arrangements with you to have the material ready the next working day.
Special carts are available in the Biomedical, Music, Research, and Science and Engineering libraries, which are designed to assist you in retrieving and transporting materials in the stacks and other parts of the library. Please ask for a cart at the circulation desks in these libraries.
