Bruin OnLine Proxy Server
If you have dial-up, cable modem, or DSL Internet service through Internet service providers such as Adelphia, AOL, Compuserv, Earthlink, Prodigy, or SBC, you can access restricted online university resources only by using the Bruin OnLine (BOL) proxy server, which routes your access through the campus network.
To use BOL proxy server, you must:
- Have a computer that is connected to the Internet.
- Be a current UCLA student, faculty, or staff member.
- Have a BOL account. If you don't have one, you can sign up online.
- Configure your computer to access the BOL proxy server.
