Librarians in each library answer reference and research questions and provide assistance with research methodologies to identify, select, and use appropriate sources during scheduled hours. They also provide instruction in the use of library catalogs, information systems, services, and collections. For in-depth research questions or assistance, UCLA users can make an appointment with a reference librarian.
