Mission StatementThe mission of the Louise Darling Biomedical Library is to provide access to and delivery of information resources. The primary focus of its collections, services, and staff is to support the health and life sciences research, educational, patient care, and administrative responsibilities of UCLA faculty, students, and staff. The library serves primarily students, faculty, and staff in the schools of medicine, dentistry, nursing, and public health; UCLA Medical Center; departments of biology, microbiology, molecular, cell, and developmental biology, physiological sciences, and psychology in the College of Letters and Sciences; and related institutes in biomedicine.
