The Biomedical Library is now blogging

You’ve come to rely on the Biomed Update to learn about new services and resources at the Biomedical Library. After the fall 2007 issue, the Update will be retired, and replaced with The Biomedical Library Blog. This is a brand-new way to get all the same information, and it is updated more frequently in order to get you important news when you need to know it. The RSS feature allows you to subscribe to the blog and be notified when a new article is posted. Visit the blog at http://blogs.library.ucla.edu/biomedical/ and add a bookmark—you’ll want to visit the site frequently!

Use Your BruinCard for Printing and Copying

As of Monday, August 27, the UCLA Library will transition to using the UCLA BruinCard for copying and printing services. Visitors will be able to purchase special visitor BruinCards. UCLA students, faculty, and staff and visitors will be able to add value to their cards at BruinCard machines located in nine libraries, including the Biomedical Library. Further details are available on a downloadable Adobe PDF information sheet and on the Self-Service Copying and Printing Web site.
