Course Reserves Information
Biomedical Library course lists can be accessed through the UCLA Library Catalog.
Loan Periods and Online Access
Physical items on reserve for a course are kept at the circulation desk. They have a loan period of two hours and can be checked out overnight.
Access to online materials is restricted to users on the campus network or connecting with the network from off-campus through the Bruin OnLine proxy server.
Information for Instructors
UCLA faculty can place a variety of materials on class reserve:
- UCLA Library-owned materials such as books, compact disks, and video.
- Personal copies of materials
- Electronic documents such as articles from online journals, scanned versions of print documents, sound recordings, images, and Web pages
Course reserves requests can be submitted by:
- Email: provide citation information, including journal title, article title, and author, for journal readings.
- In Person: Drop off lists and materials at the Biomedical Library circulation desk; fill out the top portion of the Reserve Book List Form (Adobe PDF document), print it, and attach it to materials.
