New Korean Studies Librarian
Esther Han has been appointed as the Korean studies librarian in the Richard C. Rudolph East Asian Library. During 2004-08 she was a member of the catalog specialist team with the Los Angeles County Public Library, where she was responsible for original and complex cataloging of English and Korean materials. Han earned her MLS and her BA in East Asian studies from UCLA.

New Southeast Asian Studies Librarian
Jade Alburo has been named the new Southeast Asian studies librarian in the Charles E. Young Research Library. She comes to UCLA from the Humanities and Social Sciences Division at the Library of Congress, where she served as reference and collection processing librarian. Alburo earned her MLS from the University of Maryland College Park, her MA in folklore from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, and her BA in English and religious studies from UC Berkeley.

New Subject Liaison Assignments
