Library Moves to BruinCard System for Self-Service Copying and Printing

The Library has replaced the previous system used for self-service copying and printing with the UCLA BruinCard system. UCLA faculty, staff, and students will now use their BruinCards to pay for these services, and all other library visitors will use a visitor BruinCard that also enables them to make purchases at other campus locations and at more than twenty businesses in Westwood.

BruinCard machines at which visitors can purchase visitor BruinCards and all users can add value to their cards have been installed in the Arts, Biomedical, College, Law, Management, Music, Research, and Science and Engineering libraries and the Southern Regional Library Facility. UCLA faculty, staff, and students can also add value online through the BruinCard Web site.

UCLA departments can purchase departmental BruinCards for copying, printing, and scanning from the BruinCard offices in 123 Kerckhoff Hall or 150 Sproul Hall. The cards can be used only for copying, printing, and scanning in the libraries but not for other purchases or access.

Further information is available on the self-service copying and printing Web page.
