University Librarian Gary E. Strong dedicated the Rose Gilbert Reading Room in the Powell Library Building in September 2007.  The space was named in Gilbert’s honor in recognition of this UCLA alumna and longtime donor’s gift to support the highest priority needs of the the Library.
